Who is DJ Samo

19+ years behind the decks.

Open format DJ based in Dubai and founder of YallaDJ. Since 2007 he has held residencies at ten clubs and played more than 230 weddings, 760 private events and 45 brand activations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon. He has been teaching aspiring DJs in Arabic on YouTube since 2012 — the way he wishes someone had taught him.

Do I need any experience?

No. Both courses start from zero, and the production course requires no music background at all.

Can I try one lesson first?

Yes. Book a single class for 650 AED, choose your topic, and decide about the full course afterwards.

What equipment do I need for the DJ course?

A controller, headphones, monitor speakers and a laptop. We teach on both Rekordbox and Serato.

How do the lessons happen?

Live on Zoom, one to one with DJ Samo. You receive the recording after each lesson.

Can I move a lesson?

Yes. Let us know at least 24 hours in advance and we’ll set a new time.

How do I pay?

By card on this page through Stripe, or message us on WhatsApp for other options.

Do I get a certificate?

The DJ course ends with an exam and a certificate of completion, issued as a PDF.
